The power of dance. It's international and comes in all forms. Here's a beautiful style called Kathak, which comes from the northern part of India 😍

I want to share something about Tasmin. She started attending my classes in March 2023. She was extremely nervous and hid at the back for months. Tasmin has openly shared her vulnerability lately that she is going through a really tough time, and dance really helps her. She expressed how nervous she was to do this as she struggles at times to love her body (which is soooo gorgeous btw)

A dream for over 2 years, and now it's happening!!

A dream for over 2 years, and now it's happening!! 😭

I remember saving my butt off & working crazy overtime to make my dream to train in LA come true. That was in 2017. I went on my own and stayed for 2 months. It was one of the most fulfilling yet challenging times in my life. I found a new me that I loved, a version of me that I was proud of and a version of me that grafted and was determined not to give up. Trust me, my first day I was ready to throw in the towel. My first class, I cried so hard after. I was overwhelmed, and I believed I was in way above my head. By the end of my trip, I had a new found of self belief that wasn't based on me trying to be "perfect" or dance like the pros in the class with me. I simply enjoyed my movement and appreciated my body for what she was capable of (thank you body)

When I started M-Brace U®️ in 2021 I had a dream to take my queens to LA to learn more about themselves and how they move. I'm so excited to have them on board who will be diving deeper into their dance world. I opened the space for 4 queens for our first venture. I am so ready to provide 💯 to you all 🖤

Show Love for the Beautiful Bex 🖤

She had no dance experience prior to this. Bex came on board with the 1:1 4 week intensive so she could learn about her dance vocabulary. She wants to be able to move and feel good in her body unapologetically. To feel confident and trust what her body is capable of doing.

Wk 1: We explored, I took her to those uncomfortable places you need to visit to break out of your comfort, giving herself permission to move and FEEL. Exploring you on a deeper level with your movement is more than just moving. It is channeling how you feel too.

I left her with some exercises to do through the week at home, and then we dived into wk 2.

Wk 2: How much of this did I choreograph? ZERO. I observed her strengths and vocalised what she could do to explore them further. The results by the end of this session. Well, you can see it for yourself 🤩. She found a language in her body that she was suppressing. She spoke beautifully with her movement and allowed herself to go there. You know, THERE, that place you get scared of.

Watch both videos separately. You won't believe it's the same person, let alone only 2 weeks apart 👏

We're both very excited about the next 3 sessions and what else we will discover hidden with Bex.

Her aim and goal is to give back to the charity to help other families who may be going through this. Bobby says that she feels so grateful for all the support and help she has received from the @thebraintumourcharity on her rocevery journey these last few months.

I'm directing you and guiding you the whole time 🖤

Some of you requested your 1:1 but was nervous about this exact thing. My community is a mix of dancers, some with experience, some with little experience, and some with none at all, I work with you and how we can make you feel as comfortable as possible during your filming session.

I call these experiences because they are exactly that. A wonderful experience to keep as a memory, an achievement for you to cherish. It's starring in your own music video 🖤

These are open to ALL. Any age, body and any gender. Hey, you want one for your pet dog, I got you 😅. In all seriousness, I recently captured some wonderful moments with a family that was purely them being them, and the results were magical. You may ask: Do you need dance experience? No, these experiences are beginner friendly, but if you do have a dance background, it will certainly be choreographed more to your ability.

I DID NOT BELIEVE IN MYSELF, and I am determined not to be beaten... BY ME. Even now, imposter syndrome kicks in, and I do my best to fight through those moments. I now know i'm doing the best I can do with something I feel so passionately about. Quite literally to the core of my soul 🖤. If you told me 5 years ago that this is what I'll be doing, I would've said there's no way. I am not capable or good enough.

What helped me change my mindset? YOU! Wanting to help you feel better in your body and how you move is my drive. Releasing my creativity to you that I've held back for so long is my drive. Not allowing my negative past mindset to win is my drive. Helping you dive deeper into a version of you that deserves to be seen is my drive.

So I want to remind You, You are here once for a very short amount of time. Do the things that make you happy, do your best, and when you're not able to, it's ok, don't punish yourself. That feeling of doubt is not permanent.

Believe in yourself, and if you don't, F*ck it and do it anyway 🖤

The group consists of new dancers, dancers that have got back into dance after many years off, and new mamas. A complete mix of dance experience and ages, but they ALL achieved something amazing here. Congratulations to you all 🖤

These workshops cap at 10-12ppl because it's a filming experience, and I aim to pour all my energy into every single one of you (anymore, and i'm flat lining 💀😅). This experience gives you the opportunity to learn choreography and perform it in front of a camera as a group and solo.
